To the state you are just a taxpayer, a consumer, a slave that needs to be educated. And if you dont show obedience, you are labeled a renegade, a bum, a failure. Thus it does not care about you but the continuity of its systems. It is a machine.
It was creators who created peoples, not warlords and their mouths -
