It's city by city. Areas that are high in say Mexicans are more likely to have Mexican flags and USA flags. I would image black neighborhoods have no flags.

Pacific northwest here, middle of cuckcountry. Heard one firework on the 3rd around 3pm. Not a single explosion since. Everything open. People are not grilling, homes are not clogged with cars of their friends and families. Its just a random day off mid week over here.

In the midwest it really felt like a big deal on the 4th. Sounded like a fucking warzone even though fireworks were illegal. On the 3rd and 4th all you would see is distant lights from city hosted firework shows in every direction.
