This is an interesting question. My gut feeling is that Obama is more intelligent, but devious and evil. Basically, wrong when it comes to what's best for America. Trump might not be as 'book smart', but he certainly has a solid understanding of people and the correct direction for our country to follow.

You can't really gauge how 'smart' Obama is. He's very good in controlled, scripted situations. He has top-tier academic credentials, although many of his records are sealed and it's difficult to find peers or professors who remember him... With his connections/backers in the media and Hollywood he was cast as a messiah for 8 years. The majority of media personalities and celebrities fawned over his intellect.
