Google, being able to controll the information that you are able to find is some seriouse influence,
Facebook is just collection information about you.
Netflix and Amazon are nice companies.

google. they own more than you'd think. besides, Amazon aren't TOO into politics, and Facebook is dying.

Netflix do control the messages brought to you in tv shows. Look closely at every detail. It's surprising how much subtle indoctrination can be crammed into 22 minutes

Alphabet Inc. which owns Google and is a front for the CIA to fund companies which they manipulate, has ties to all four of those websites and services.

Google owns youtube. They control the narrative almost entirely. They datamine the most info on a constant basis.

Amazon I would say second, because they are directly funded by the CIA and is used to datamine a huge amount of information from credit card info, addresses, names, and purchase habits.

Google, and their parent company Alphabet.
From December 2013- June 2017, they were the owners of Boston Dynamics, a company that produced some of the most complex and advanced robots for military application.
They recently sold Boston Dynamics to a Japanese bank, but there's no telling what kind of assets and schematics they accumulated in those 4 years.

Google and Facebook. Netflix is trash and most people spend more time looking for something to watch than actually watching something. Amazon doesn't even make a profit just perpetual loans and they just entered a dying brick and mortar business. We'll see how that plays out.

But Facebook is universal for the normals and social media has replaced the dying legacy media. Kikerberg and Soros have a leg up on consent manufacturing. Not to mention they are actively censoring anything pro-America/pro-Trump. And Google... well pic related. They have been caught messing with their search algorithms and covering up things like Benghazi... The Chairman of google was part of Hillary's campaign.

That is a serious monopoly over the distribution of information that all should fear.

Google simply because if you use the internet at all you utilize one of their services at some point. Google controls the top 2 sites for web traffic (google.com and youtube.com). The created the most popular browser to date(Chrome), they created the most popular Mobiles OS(Android), they are trying to expand into becoming a telecom company with Google Fiber, they are trying to become with number one VOIP provider with Google Voice, and are currently the the leader in the industry for AI development. The seer amount of control in the various industries they operate in is truly staggering and should invoke antitrust action, but they pay into the Democratic Party so no one is going to do it.

Amazon does'nt turn a profit. It has like a 300+ p/e ratio. Grocery stores have razor-thin profit margins and WFS is probably the most overvalued grocer in the world and it's market is niche. Huge companies don't turn a profit by being exclusive to upper-middle-class white people.

1 - Google: they know everything about us, and they are basicaly unavoidable. But at least they are not so left-leaning

Unless you're using Startpage or God forbid, DDG, Google knows what you're up to and where you're going.

Use Startpage to anonymize yourself searching, and OpenStreetMap for navigation. Unfortunately, just hanging around people with Android phones will have Google listening in on you but until they can discern voices, it's not as big of a deal.

Amazon has been running a profitable business for years, but has been continually re-investing profits into expansion to achieve scale. That's why until the last year it's been either posting small losses or breaking even.

It's just that now AWS is growing so fast it's making more money than they know how to spend.

AWS is a good reason to be scared of Amazon because it absolutely dominates cloud services. Netflix runs on AWS.

Until you're looking for a job, then you're screwed. I work in the field of finance and when interviewing for jobs back in the summer of 2015, I was asked by multiple employers why I did not have a Facebook, this was AFTER they asked me if they could have the login information to it. When explaining that I found it to be a massive waste of time they looked at me like I just said I liked to kill stray cats. This was a couple of years ago so I could only imagine how it is now. depends on the phone. You can gimp it and remove the google services but then you rely on the open source community to make replacements. I commend them, but Google it who makes Android and the working location services, voice to text, etc.

You can just disable the google apps like maps, search, etc and that will help if you're into it. Search is what is always listening. Ever notice how you can be talking with your friends about something and when you open the Google App the first search suggestion is what you were conversing about?

I've had that happen way too many times. Facebook app will also do this, on Android and iPhone.

You can get LineageOS without Google Play Services, but that means you don't get the Play Store and most of the apps. You can sideload your apps or use something like F-Droid instead. There's also CopperheadOS which is even better security-wise.

However, even if you build your Android and all its apps from source, it's still only a middleware that has to interface somehow with the underlying hardware. The drivers/userspace libs for the underlying hardware are provided by the hardware vendors themselves and are all closed. The end result being that you don't control what runs on your device.

Theoretically, you could license the IP from the chip vendors ($$$), use a RISC-V (an open CPU project which Google actually supports), and manage to build an entirely open device where you can audit and replicate the hardware/software from scratch. However, there's still a matter of the baseband processor. Do you want your phone to talk to cell towers? Then you either make a radio chip to do it ($$$ + years of paperwork) or license an existing one. The chips that run this baseband software are usually the first thing to wake up when you hold the power button and control on the main CPU with full access to memory through DMA.

If you're not familiar with certifying new radio equipment, it's a colossal pain. Every country has regulations regarding the frequencies the device is allowed to use and the interference it has to accept. Additionally, compliance with the local spooks can involve building backdoors into this baseband processor that is ultimately in total control of your device. Some quick googling will reveal that the FBI can remotely listen in on your phone and that a Samsung backdoor in baseband code has already been found. It is trivial to get your position from proximity to cell towers, or the surrounding WiFi networks, or hell, from GPS.

So to summarize, if you can shut off your phone and take the battery out, great. Otherwise, you got a cuckphone.

Certainly not Facebook and Netflix the product they offer is becoming less a part of my life.

Apple has much more control over their hardware and software. They're trying to position themselves as champions of privacy because they don't make all of their money through ads. They did also take that stand against backdoor requirements a while ago.

It's likely all corporate PR bullshit. There is no way to check.

Google and Facebook together collect enough information to have a complete personality matrix on each and every person that uses both services.

They don't need to know you personally to understand what you'll most likely do in a certain situation based on projections of your personality matrix on the general public's decision making process.

Google is by far the worst. Read pic related if you want a primer. Yeah, they've got a digital profile of you built up for (((advertising purposes))), but it goes way beyond that. From buying elections to foreign regime change to subverting the media and shilling globalism, they are absolutely fucking this planet over.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Page

Lawrence Edward Page[4] (born March 26, 1973) is an American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Google with Sergey Brin.[1][5]

Page is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc. After stepping aside as Google CEO in August 2001 in favour of Eric Schmidt, he re-assumed the role in April 2011. He announced his intention to step aside a second time in July 2015 to become CEO of Alphabet, under which Google's assets would be reorganized. Under Page, Alphabet is seeking to deliver major advancements in a variety of industries.[6]

As of March 2017, Page is the 13th richest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of US$40.7 billion.[7]

Page is the inventor of PageRank, Google's best-known search ranking algorithm.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14] Page received the Marconi Prize in 2004.[15]

Page was born March 26, 1973[16] in East Lansing, Michigan.[17] His mother was Jewish,[18] and his grandfather later made aliyah to Israel,[19] although Page does not follow any formal religion.[18][20] His father, Carl Victor Page, Sr., earned a PhD in computer science from the University of Michigan in 1965, when the field was being established, and has been described by BBC reporter Will Smale as a "pioneer in computer science and artificial intelligence."[21] He was a computer science professor at Michigan State University and Page's mother, Gloria, was an instructor in computer programming at Lyman Briggs College and at Michigan State University.[22][21][23]

i agree with your analysis of AMZN stock. with my model the price should be around 300 give or take.

Google is dangerous. Also, to Kike who went "REEEEEE. xou dont need to watch everthing on netflix"... if you pay a subscription you are funding their production of propaganda

1. Google are basically their own CIA at this point

2. facebook has extreme social engineering capabilities

3. amazon are like a strawman against capitalism come to life

4. just a waste of time with too obvious propaganda

>what is opportunity cost

Amazon can turn a massive profit any year it wants to. But to do so, it would have to hold onto money it's currently spending on growth, which is a nonsensical course of action. Why turn down perfectly good investment opportunities?

Google.

They have the most information of interest they could use for malicious intent, which I conjecture they have already done.

After that, in order, Facebook, Amazon, Netflix. Netflix is a way to control what people watch, but they don't seem to exercise it that much and they don't have access to that much info, while Facebook has a fuckton of info. Amazon being somewhere inbetween.
>>
>>132378044
Netflix supports HTML DRM. Also, I seriously hope no one here uses google services.
>>
>>132378326
It's true, if you look at what is popular and what is recommended on Netflix it's all degeneracy. Anti-white, anti-US, and not surprisingly every time they add new shows they throw in one or two holocaust or evil Hitler documentaries. I'm serious, there are over 20 such documentaries on Netflix

Google because they know everything you search Every person you look up. Every address and google maps. Every product. TV show. Score of a game. Random questions like "how to _____". They're also the most standard email service of current year. And stuff like Google Earth.

>these companies will try and do good

no, they wont.

the heads of all these companies want nothing else but the utter annihilation of 99.999999% of humanity. the rest of them plan to merge with machines.

all planets do this. all planets are eventually run by machines. we are already extinct.

Pretty sure Kindle Unlimited is a scam to track reading habits but I guess Im fucked already so who cares if I download every far right book they have on it to read. So I guess Im not worried about Amazon.

Probably Google or Facebook. Netflix will eventually die when people stop liking their shitty OC.

Google (alphabet) and Facebook for privacy concerns but Amazon is what scares me. Amazon is in a position to completely destroy retail as we know it and put millions out of work. All Amazon needs is warehouses and drivers, and soon enough drivers won't be needed. Amazon will be one of the first trillion dollar companies and they'll do it with 1/5 the employees of other trillion dollar businesses

I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on his horns, and blasphemous names on his heads. The beast which I saw was like a leopard. His feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it was mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed, and the whole world marveled and followed the beast. They worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)

Google. They have too much power and function as a corporate NSA
its been proven before that moot sold out to them and they spy on us, no one should ever be logged in on any google account and even so much as think browsing here
and you'd have to be naive as a communist to think that Hiro stopped that.

Facebook.

Google spying on me is atleast a mutual relationship.

Netflix is just netflix. There is no traffic with netflix when you load 90% of the internet.

AWS isn't just big because of Netflix, it has over 50% of the cloud market. Microsoft is the next biggest and then there's Google and the rest fighting over the crumbs left over.

Many sites and services companies depend upon also run on AWS.

AWS has lots of nice offerings, but I'm dead against building things that aren't portable to other providers. Previous place I worked at spent a year migrating everything from AWS to GCP and cut bills in half while making all the bits and pieces not tied to a single vendor.

Google is easily the most dangerous, with Facebook and Amazon close behind.

Netflix is bad, but not on the same level as the others. Basic propaganda stuff that Google and Facebook also do regularly.
