With every passing year since Maidan and gap between Ukraine and Russia is closing. Russian military budget has been stagnating for years now with the next one for 3 years set to decrease gradually.
Ukraine on the other hand has been increasing her own with 2017 being 6% GDP or 5.2 billion $. Plus regular assistance from Burgers.
Then there is Poland with announced military budget which will double in next 10 years to 22 billion $ or 4% GDP.
Sorry Vlad, your dreams were over before they even began.

It can't. The last weapons grade plutonium producing nuclear plant was shut down in 2006.
Most of Russias nukes are rusting away in storage, risking unintentional detonation. Deployed weapons have a 50/50 possibility of failure, that's growing with every year.
