We can already kill the Midwest, that's easy. Now it's down to the South, the West, and the Northeast.

The South has strength in gun ownership and military bases, but it's not as wealthy as the other two. The South would likely put up a good fight but it would fall due to a lack of organization. I suppose it could survive for as long as it can hold the Appalachian Mountains. They also have DC, and if DC is somehow loyal to the South, then the South would win. Otherwise it has a good chance but it's probably not the best.

The Northeast doesn't have much gun ownership, but it is a very wealthy region. We can assume that New York will be the main focus of the Northeast, as it's the powerhouse of the region. New York will probably hire a private military, perhaps conscript its citizens in the war.

The West is probably the best shot at winning the war. With a huge chunk of the US population living in California, conscripting them will be an endless onslaught for anyone they go against. The West also has the resources and huge cities of the Northeast. Although gun ownership is weak in places like California, states like Montana will provide the arms.

I'd probably bet on the West winning.

Midwest is complete garbage, not even a competitor. The midwest would quickly be carved up between the other powers to be used as a breadbasket.

Northeast is too vulnerable, they have too few natural resources and their industrial facilities are too close to the border with their enemies. There are also just simply too many mouths to feed stuffed into too little geography. They need the midwest to survive, and they won't be able to hold any part of it.

South has good geographic positioning. Most of their industrial and manufacturing facilities are deep in their territory, and they have vast natural resources and an extensive martial tradition. Unfortunately for them, they have large populations of foreigners and racial ghettos that will rise up against them, rendering a long term war unwinnable.

The west has vast ground to give between itself and any other region, and the midwest to provide an additional buffer zone. it has fewer racial ghettos. It has vast wealth, but very little manufacturing or industrial capacity. It has vast natural resources that could be converted into war material if given sufficient time though.

The West wins if the war lasts more than a few months.
