I have a proposition:
America and Britain should both jointly celebrate July 4th, Independence Day to show their friendship, understanding, shared history, and solidarity in how far they've come over the centuries.
Brexit occured in late June 2016, very close to July 4th. I think that due to proximity, it could work.
Also, in order to keep our momentum going, people need to understand that Britain was merely escaping the tyranny of the authoritarian EU bureaucracy, fighting for its own independence. It seems like a missed opportunity for America to let this pass by, and only celebrate their own independence. Independence day should be a celebration of freedom the world round, and so the British need to be encouraged and know that they have allies that will back them up in their quest for freedom.
What do you say? Can we meme this into a shared holiday to accelerate the downfall of the tyrannical EU?

That particular downfall needs no memes.

America deserve their own celebration. The only country to of fought for their independence and won.
Not like Canada who needed it handed to them.

The concept of freedom does not apply to Britserfs.
>>132350832
I don't know why, but I suspect the Anglosphere will hang together, or hang separately.
