Where I am from it rains about 4 days a week and the other 3 are mostly cloudy. In the summer things improve somewhat with the occasional tropical week followed by 2 to 4 weeks off utter suck and sparing beams of sunlight.

How the hell am I supposed to get a tan? Am I supposed to just tan in 95% cloudy weather? Tanning is nearly impossible in northern Europe afaik. Also have better things to do than to walk around aimlessly outside everyday to build up 'a light tan'. I don't even own a backyard so I get the morning sunlight and then it's gone.

I went on one vacation that lasted over 3 weeks in Asia and I got sunburn and tan consistently and my skin tone has darkened ever since.
