11. It was my first week of secondary school so we got to go home early anyway. People started talking about it at school, just before I left and it was on a TV in the lunch hall.

I remember coming home and putting on BBC news and watching for hours. I told my Mum when the second plane hit and she wouldn't believe me until I dragged her to the TV.

I put in a VCR and hit record, I have all the BBC footage from after the second plane hit until the evening.

Apparently the BBC reported a tower falling before it actually fell, I need to go hook up my VCR dig out the video and check it out at some point to see if it's true.

I was in my 20s and working for a moving company in the NYC area. I remember standing on a bridge just watching in awe and elation as the planes impacted the towers. I couldn't help but feel immense relief and joy knowing that Americans would finally help my people in our struggle against Islamic terrorism.

Sadly the company I was working for got shut down after 9/11 - turns out it was a real damper on business. My visa expired and I was deported back to Israel.

So I have mixed feelings.

I was 16 years old. I was at school in southeastern Wisconsin. I was in 4th period when three of my peers got sent home. Right before our bell rang one of the teachers next door notified the class that a plane hit the Twin Towers. 26, On vacation in Hawaii for a wedding. It happened two days after we got there. Was sitting on the deck of the condo eating breakfast looking at the ocean, thinking of how incredibly beautiful it was, then my friend's sister walked up and told me. It felt really disconnected, like it wasn't really happening, but maybe just because it all went down before I even woke up, and because we were so far away. The few days after we just did our vacation shit, tried to not think about it and enjoy ourselves, but the anxiety really started to kick in for me, the last few days there sucked, constantly worried about how we were going to get home, remember all air traffic was grounded for several days. 16 years old. Was a half day for school. My dad called me and told me to turn on the TV, one of the twin towers had be struck by a plane.

Shortly after that the next tower was hit, and the Pentagon.

We went to school and there was no classes. We all just sat there watching the towers burn and eventually fall.

Before I left to go in for school and was on the phone with my dad he said something that hit me right in the stomach.

I'll never forget what he said. "You'll remember this day until you die. You'll remember where you were when we were attacked on our own soil."

I was 19. I was sitting in a PizzaHut in the Rashplatz behind the Hauptbahnhof in Hannover, Germany with my then girlfriend. We were on a 2-er table and above us was a framed photo of the twin towers (no joke). We ordered and received our food and while we were waiting the waitress kind of came and hung out near us looking out the front window outside to the Rashplatz. I turns out she had figured out that I wasn't German and came over and asked if I was American. I said, "No, I'm English" and she said she asked because there had been a bomb explosion at the WTC. Me and my girlfriend kind of said, "here?" and pointed to the picture of the WTC above us and we remarked at the coincidence, but didn't think much more of it. I remember then going on the u-bahn after the pizza and seeing on the TV screens in the station and in the trams themselves pictures of (what was) New York enveloped in clouds of smoke and dust but it still didn't occur to me what had happened.

I later wnt home to my flat and turned on BBC news or CNN as those were the only english speakin channels and thats when I learned exactly what had happened.

I believed it until about 2007. I think people died, but I think it was a planned attack by our own shadow world government.

I was having a party (not because of the attack, I just so happened to be at a disco club)
