You can't be actively against white nationalism and in any way like the alt right. An ethnostate is THE core ideological agreement within the movement. You could be indifferent about it perhaps but hating the idea of an ethnostate is not an option. Note that the alt right supports the idea of an ethnostate for any race and doesn't wish to have anything they wouldn't allow another race to have (other than land), it just focuses on whiteness because it's a white movement.
