Eating animals is actually necessary at the moment as we do not have the ability to grow enough plant based food to sustain even a smidgen of our current world population.
If a vegan utopia were to ever come to pass it will be through the lab grown meat that skips the alive animal phase.

Ah I always presumed the Vegan Gains lot were the minority, then again PETA and their propaganda and whatnot.

The girl who I knew who was also vegan back in upper school certainly wasn't like them, twas like me in the sense that we didn't really care what other people did as long as they didn't abuse animals like with Halal.
