In an incorporated company, there are various levels of protection - corporate personhood giving the owner(s) of shares protection from being sued or taxed directly for the company, bankruptcy protections for the company, options for administration and receivership which IIRC aren't necessarily available for unincorporated businesses.

That makes a solid difference to the business's survivability and the employees under it, going further when it comes to growth and expansion, with investment options in selling and issuing shares rather than percentage ownership.

That's important because they then have more financial stability than they otherwise would, to learn from their failures and start again more successfully until they do finally achieve longevity.

For lower and middle class people, that will mean the world - for most the dream isn't to make it big and join the upper class millieu, but to stay in their own culture, own a successful business, and just have more money. That means more lower-middle owned small and medium businesses, which by and large have a far greater benefit to the economy in aggregate (value produced per worker e.g.) than large companies do, hiring mainly lower and middle class workers who feel more satisfaction working in a small/medium business than a large one.
