I used to listen to him daily back in the early 90s. While I don't disagree entirely with his politics, he gets repetitive. I always like the "pep talks" he gave. Sort of "whatever it is you are doing, strive to be the best at it". I wish my father had talked to me like that when I was young. It wouldn't have taken me so long to be successful.

Rush was better back in the 90's when he could hear the callers and he tried to be more comedic. He's still good, but he was definitely better then.

Also, today he'll more often wander off into a tangent that I just can't give a fuck about. He's been talking about NFL horseshit for years (I can't care less) and now he adds shit about his cat or Apple computer. I can't imagine who he thinks this stuff appeals to, probably other boomers.

This is the most bizarre load of shit I think I've ever read. Rush has been center-right for thirty fucking years. You can pick any recording from any decade and hear nearly the exact same talking points year after year after year.
