Honest question: What has trump - so far - accomplished in office? Are these changes significant? Are there implications in any of the following?
-Taxes
-Tech industry
-Pharmaceutical industry
Thanks.
To start he's working on taking down the most insideous enemy the U.S. has ever faced: The American media.
The Immigration ban is a symbolic victory but it's one that's more important as a symbol. Every nation state has a right to set it's own immigration policy. The Left wouldn't ever admit that.
The Dow/Nasdaq climbs higher about ever week. This isn't through specific actions the president takes but shows confidence in the market and short to mid term outlooks on the economy.
Of the 3 places you mentioned 2 are driven almost exclusively from innovation from within. Tech and Pharma. Not much government can do except stay out of their way.

First, thanks for the reply.
Now, I'm not so much interested in the social aspects, as I do not live within the US.
However, I am a full-time trader and I have not seen anything different about the Trump presidency. My backtests on market movements show the market to be moving with its historical seasonality, with the variable "change of president" having no statistical significance. Would I be correct in assuming that Trump's presidency has thus-far been defined by social, not economic, changes?
As a side note: The one industry that arguably has moved differently is pharm and medical, as apparently Trump has related sector-shaping policies. Do you know about this form of progress?
