Trump is all about repeal and replace.
Trumpcare is the liberal name of the repeal part where no new system will come and replace obamacare. This argument is disingenuous and not telling the full story of the situation. Obviously having no new healthcare system would be disastrous.
yes, but i mean what it "grants." there obviously isn't much info, but have you heard about what they'll be doing? e.x. you work for your healthcare?
the 'news comedians' are always shitting on it though

It will likely change before it passes now, but the very basic premise is that...
>Healthcare mandate removed - people will no longer be fined for not having insurance
>Healthcare subsidies removed - replaced with a tax credit for $1,200, increasing in value based on age (older people get more)
>high risk and pre-existing conditions will be in a separate health insurance pool, which will receive subsidized costs
The main argument for Trumpcare is that will reign in rising costs and premiums, saving money for patients and the government.
The main argument against Trumpcare is that as a result of the changes made, they've projected a rise in the number of people without health insurance.
Counter-argument is that many people who have it now don't really want it, or can't afford to use it because of the cost of premiums.
Speaking personally, Trumpcare would be better for me. I don't need health insurance(young and healthy), I don't want to buy health insurance, and I don't want to subsidize the cost of healthcare with my tax money, so some fatass can keep stuffing his face with McDonalds and not die.
$1,200 would give me a nice cushion incase I need to visit the emergency room, which is the only thing about healthcare that worries me at this stage in my life.
