Where does ancap deviate from libertarianism? How much power does the state have in the ideal libertarian world? I'm retarded please be patient with me.
The state would only be there to enforce rights, contracts and defend its people.

>Where does ancap deviate from libertarianism?
anarcho capitalism is a subgroup of libertarianism.
>How much power does the state have in the ideal libertarian world?
that's the big question in libertarian circles. in libertarianism there are anarcho capitalists, minarchists, constitutionalist libertarians, and classical liberals. the difference between anarcho capitalists and other libertarians is that all the other libertarians believe there should be at least some form of government as small as it may be, while anarcho capitalists don't want a government at all.

Ancap is libertarianism with two additional beliefs:
(1) Political Anarchism: Political legitimacy is invalid. Most minarchists are already here.
(2) Political anarchism: Functions of the state should be decentralized through private companies.

For (1), I meant philosophical anarchism.
