I don't know. They're a strange bunch. I've taught for about a decade now, so I've seen the shift from teenaged Millennials to teenaged Gen Z.

They definitely hold what would come off as conservative views, but I think it's more "programming" then steadfast beliefs.

Smartphones are pervasive and consume their attention spans. They seem to believe almost anything they read or see online. It's very, very easy to play with a Gen Z kid's emotions and get a response that you want from them.

Case in point, one Gen Z class was convinced the Statue of Liberty was in Washington DC. They had never visited it or bothered to look it up. It just "sounded right" in their heads. I corrected them, and they just accepted it. No fact checking, no "oh yeah, he's right" moments, no "oh, silly me...".. just, "yep, sure Mister!" They just nodded and went back to Snapchat.

And sure enough, a few days later all of their work still listed the Statue of Liberty as being anywhere but NYC. One of the kids even wrote that Trump was going to blow it up because he "hated America" and "showed his true colors after bombing Syrian children." When I asked for the boy's sources, he told me he didn't have any. He "just knew it was right."

Like, none of the facts mattered to him. He was just firing off his feelings. And this isn't the first time. This is common.

Gen Z is basically the first step toward Idiocracy in my exp.

They have a much higher density of people, particularly the males who are redpilled than any previous generation. But they are matched by an extreme left who are more bluepilled than any previous generation.

That became a self-fulfilling prophesy and, gradually, I did become a "Nazi bigot"

The Trump election finally brought me here though, I at first only supported Trump because those "peers" opposed him, that lead to a larger dislike of Clinton (naturally). Then a friend found some story on Yahoo news about a "neo-nazi website makes Clinton campaign secretary kill herself" or some other general kike demonization narrative, I followed the link to "The Daily Stormer" and now I've reached /pol/.
