Pretty bad. Bad economic policies that hurt a lot of people and industries. Very bad and arrogant foreign policy. Picked the wrong fights and allies. Could have saved Europe, but allied himself with Germany instead of Italy's natural allies. Intervention in Spain was somewhat righteous, but poorly conducted (angered local Spaniards by acting like in conquered territory and enormous waste of lives without learning any of the lessons the Germans did). Undermined the authority of the King and the church. His government was very corrupt.

They Italians did not get 'fucked over'. The Entente wasn't going to hand over Serbian (now Yugoslavian) clay over to Italians when they had gone to war to defend plucky little Serbia in the first place. Especially not considering the enormous efforts made by the Serbian people in resisting the Austrians.

I don't see any obvious feature that made the Italian government better than the 3rd republic. Both couldn't keep peace and stop the political violence in the streets, both did poorly economically, both declared wars when they weren't ready and fared poorly in them, both crumbled at the time of invasion and turned into German puppet states.

As for the Vichy government, it did send 2 million men as cucked labour into Germany. Nonetheless, Pétain cucked the Germans back by not paying the reparations they owed.
