How the fuck is alimony still a thing? I get that its origin is in like the 1800s when a woman couldnt even get a job, but we live in the modern world now. No one is stopping a woman from getting any sort of job so why should her exhusband be forced to take care of her financially? Doesnt that just treat women like retards anyway? Where are the feminist on this issue? how come I have NEVER heard any of them bitch about this since it places women as being too dumb to take care of themselves?
