Really depends on what it is. There are a lot of things that society can't pressure people into doing or not doing, but for this issue, I would say that the people partaking in incest would feel immense pressure from the people around them, but this is only if they are openly doing it and/or they don't live in certain places in the U.S. I agree though that most of the time this wouldn't work to stop it.
