Hey /pol/, Norway has its parliamentary election on 9/11 this year. The farthest right party, the Progress Party is in peril while the Centre Party is surging in the polls due to "muh small districts". The current government has begun to reduce the amount of municipalities and also done so, which has made some people pissed. The Progress Party has lost much support due to this and from appeasing the Liberal Party, now polling on only 13% compared to their all time high at 23% before Fjotolf Hansen.
We, /pol/, do not want the Progress Party to do well in the election for many reasons. The leader of the Party is now seen as weak and this is most likely her last election as party leader. The most popular person in the party is Sylvi Listhaug, who has been referred to on several occasions on /pol/ as far right and tough on immigration, which she is, while also being seen as a strong and steadfast person both in her own party and by the general population.[1][2] The problem with Listhaug is that she loves Israel as much as she loves Jesus. Nonetheless, we should not help them because there is someone else who is more /ourguy/.
Pic related is of Hans Jorgen Lysglimt Johansen, commonly referred to as just Lysglimt. He is a 40-something year old guy who uses most of his day tweeting.[3] Looking at his twitter one could suspect that he frequents this board, and considering what he stands for it wouldn't surprise me. This man managed to found a party by acquiring 5000 signatures. His party "Alliansen" was created with the goal to make Norway leave EEA, more or less the same as with UKIP. It didn't take long time until this party evolved into /pol/, and currently uses much time on talking about circumcision, how jews are bad (partly from circumcising babies), how gays are degenerate and to a growing proportion ethno-nationalism.[4] Lysglimt used to be a libertarian and Ron Paul supporter, but like /pol/ he evolved.

Besides Lysglimt, the even farther right than the Progress Party is also growing. Alternative news media has come up as well, and one of which is run by a previous neo-nazi.[5][6]. The other alternative news/agenda sites.[7][8]
If these persons and websites were to gain more attention they would grow at the expense of the Progress Party, a good trade off if you ask me.

God that's a lot of baggage. Why can't he just be a nationalist. If Muslims and Jews go the circumcision goes with them. Gays are degenerate but right now Norway in general is fine with them and it would just ruin the rest of his ideas.
