You werent really destroyed industrially. Te allies knew what they were bombing (Dresden), but they also knew that German industry was going to be vital to European recovery.

Loads of machines in the factories were in need of repair, but basically functional. Logisitcs were understandably fucked, but the 'German economic miracle' wasn't a magic trick- the machine was still there, it just needed started up again.
