Just in the span of a few minutes, I noticed two peculiar phenomenon on Twitter.
+++
1 - the Deray/Patreon tweet - https://twitter.com/deray/status/880931779359780865
The first (pic related) is a @deray tweet from about 36 hours ago, which was also retweeted by Patreon. I guess he had met with Patreon at their offices that day. Leaving aside whatever they were meeting about, I found it strange that there are only 2 replies to this tweet.
Deray has 846,000 followers. Patreon, like Twitter itself, is controversial right now because it is refusing to ban a major Antifa-related group from its platform, despite It's Going Down being about as crystal clear a violator of its TOS as one could possibly imagine.
I myself replied a comment to this Deray tweet and my reply was instantly detached from Deray's tweet. I can see my reply in my own timeline, but when I go to Deray's tweet it is not there.
You could say maybe I am being shadow-banned, but the fact is there is no way that only 2 people (or anywhere near that low number) is all who have replied to deray's tweet.
In summary, I think there is large scale and automated censorship going on around Deray and/or Patreon tweets.
I believe this censorship is much larger than any media outlets have yet realized.

2 - the NRA/Deray tweet - https://twitter.com/NRATV/status/881314298609283072
deray called the NRA out and the NRA replied with the above tweet, which was a great rebuttal. Almost every single reply that shows up is anti-NRA, which just seems off to me.

What do you think? Have their been any good articles that really get to the bottom of how widespread Twitter-censorship of right wing voices is? Have you noticed the censorship growing in the past few days?

Get some sleep.
We need some people to leak how social media manipulates their platform.

Thanks for your concern.

Yeah, nothing can really stay secret anymore these days. It wouldn't take that much effort from some journalists to get a picture of what's going on there.
