Do they become bf and gf when the man sticks his meat in her or after the baby is born at which point they are married, I suppose?

Or is the 'we are a couple' bit just two ppl attempting to control each other? Certainly you can make kids, if you wanted them, by choice (wtfs wrong with u), without creating ties to 'guarantee' with labels and ceremonies that the man or woman will not run off.
It makes me think as if some force forces people into creating babies they do not want, maybe something like cultural conditioning and social pressure?
