I need not do for my country because I am not an ant and I do not serve a collective to attain prosperity. That is not the human way. The free market and voluntarism are the way forward for human progress, not serving the state, which does not exist, and certainly not leeching off of other people and using the state as a resource funnel to pump wealth from the more responsible to the less responsible.

There are some things which end up being done by the state or by some entity isomorphic no matter what due to things like externalities and them running a few industries the most effectively due to a myriad of factors.
