The cold war was basically a war between soulless capitalism and soulless communism, neither of which actually cared about the well being of their people, only the purveyance of their economic beliefs. Fascism/National Socialism is pragmatic, and is essentially the government being run by the countries main ethnic group, for the main ethnic group. Because of this set up, they will have they are more likely to do what is best for their people.
