Epic. This shit bill has some fucked up provisions in there, most notably

>Expand the “rape shield” provisions to include communications of a sexual nature or communications for a sexual purpose. These provisions provide that evidence of a complainant’s prior sexual history cannot be used to support an inference that the complainant was more likely to have consented to the sexual activity at issue, or that the complainant is less worthy of belief
>Provide that a complainant has a right to legal representation in rape shield proceedings. (essentially this brings an accuser's personal lawyer into a criminal prosecution case, fuck if I know why)
>Create a regime to determine whether an accused can introduce a complainant’s private records at trial that are in their possession. This would complement the existing regime governing an accused’s ability to obtain a complainant’s private records when those records are in the hands of a third party.

The last point is shady. If you remember Jian Ghomeshi, one of the main reasons he got off is because he had email correspondence with the accusers that went directly against what they said under oath which made them look like lying cunts. This caught them on their ass because the defense currently doesnt have to share their strategy and evidence with the prosecution. With this bill, you would have to give prosecutors said correspondence before being able to introduce it in court, something that flies in the face of centuries of law practice. What this would do is enable lying cunts to be able to lie better about what type of contact they had with someone after the fact,making them appear more trustworthy in court.
