Why is the right so keen on calling out "fake news" when they are now chopping up the segment about Van Jones?

Whenever the Veritas clip is shown they only have the part where he says "Its a nothing burger". However the part of him then saying "there is nothing you can do about it" is never shown.

Is it really that hard for you idiots to make the connection? Russia is a big nothing burger, meaning there is nothing you can do about it except for sit and wait for new information to come out.
