Yes, Greek side is lovely. Government is a bit corrupt so be prepared to grease the wheels if you want anything done in a timely manner. Way less corrupt than the Turkish side though and you can always travel to the Turkish side for those great street vendors in the capital city.

Nightlife IDK, lots of Russian tourists in the Turkish north and besides their casinos there isn't much. Greek side i don't know, but you're probably right to assume it dies down as tourists leave with the season.

Yes but much hotter in the temperature. Also we wish we were as developed as Germany. It's just that Cyprus is more developed than most countries in eastern Europe.

It's pretty great all-around but if you can't handle Greece levels of summer heat then I would stay away, the air is so humid there it feels like a light breeze will suck all the moisture from your body.

Other than that it's like a small and better Greece, akin culturally to developmentally to some of the better Dodecanese islands like Rhodes. The turks while still a blight aren't on the same tier as their mainland jihadist cousins and there are some brits there that can't hold their drinks worth a shit.
