Hey fellow /pol/acks. What do you think about the Pacific state of Jefferson? Is it worth it to move there and try and tilt politics to our side? I know there's already a libertarian movement to go to NH and make it a great state, could something similar be done with Jefferson? What are the demographics there?
Dont you EVER fucking move north you hear me
You stay away from Oregon

I'm not a commie.

The insurmountable problem with Jefferson is it would require the approval of both the California and Oregon legislatures, and Congress.
>>131969275
You mean their state legislators? That sounds terrible. I heard congress approved though. So is all that's left to get permission from the libshit politicians?
>>131969515
But I mean, the population is only slightly bigger than NH, so a movement to get people like kekistanis there wouldn't be so far fetched (though I find them cringey).

Article IV, Section 3, Paragraph 1 of the US Constitution
New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.
For all the foresight the Founders had, they should have implemented something to cap a state from getting to big. The problem with California is it was created well before other states out there and the land mass was way too big for the amount of future residents it would hold. It's the only state west of the Mississippi with above average density and it's huge.

And it had the gold rush and can sustain its own national economy if left alone, at least if the liberals didn't run it into the ground. I'm sick and tired of commiefornia having too much influence. They need to be knocked down a few pegs until they renounce their treachorous ways, while simultaneously letting competent states manage its resources efficiently.

NH almost went for Trump with a margin of only a few thousand votes giving it to Hillary. If even just 10,000 autists moved to NH it would be Trump's next time around.
Jefferson isn't a state. It has the redwoods and the mountains and the conservative gun-toting remnants of what made California great and quintessentially American but making it into a state would take so much effort it wouldn't even be funny.
Additionally I would never support it unless the rest of California was also broken up, simply because California has too much power currently. Four states, two liberal and two conservative should be good to break the back of the liberal mexican fucktards.

California and Texas are huge specifically because both of them were technically independent republics when they joined, so the thinking was "either let us remain huge or we won't join". Effectively the situation is like this because the USA ate entire countries. Clearly this was a mistake in the long run.

We need to disenfranchise liberal-voting minorities, kick out the beaners and get moderates to vote Republican. The problem with California is because it was way on the other side of the country progressive Republicans became the dominant force there and this attracted socialist Democrats who took advantage of voting policies to steadily undermine what was a great white experiment in large scale direct democracy.
When Republicans regain control California needs to become the Mississippi of the West coast and keep degenerates from voting by jailing them. No more fun is allowed, gays and hippies and mexicans ruined it.

Jefferson is nice but there's fucking nothing there.
It doesn't have the infrastructure to sustain a vibrant community beyond the hillbillies and transient PCT hikers who pass through.
>>131972140
The thing about NH is that libertarians are trying to move there, and not conservatives. So it would be more third party votes, not red votes, as well as potential third party congress seats. And I implore non libertarians to not fuck that up.
>>131968439
>already in jefferson
feelsfreeman
>>131968439
It has a good amount of support in the counties effected, and it makes sense that these republican counties get representation.
>>131970649
California Government would be hard pressed to allow it if for nothing else but water.
>>131972474
How do you suggest it be done?
>>131972585
It would get that infrastructure if enough good people moved there and took initiative to improve Internet and other infrastructure.
>>131972880
So you're an ancap in Jefferson, but not in NH where you would be more likely to make a difference? I'd be content with libertarians and ancaps moving to NH and other politically oriented kekistanis going to Jefferson. It'd add distinct flavor to the nation to have distinct states with specific philosophies instead of political diversity unless each political flavor sticks to specific counties, but state legislation would be a dog to go through unless the state government was laid out in a non-standard manner.
>>131973478
well i was born here and not in a position to move right now but nh does likely have less mexicans
>>131974662
Yeah. I feel you. Plus for those that don't like the snow but like California weather and redwood forests there's nothing else to compare to. I guess the best thing to do is lay out counties according to political inclination and hope we have a confederacy within the state.
>>131974888
Thinking deeper, that scenario would be pretty ironic considering Jefferson was a federalist.
