The difference is like night and day. I no longer hear loud music at night (this used to give me traumas as a kid), clubs and bars are illegal to build here. The neighbors don't play loud music. I don't have to listen to my neighbor beating his wife or people screaming at their kids. Everyone who lived in a commie block knows this. There are no betting shops where low life scum can gather.

I would take being dead over going back to that.
