Are you serious? I was OK with Trump not ending it because it only covers a few hundred thousand out of 25 million illegals, but dang, I just thought it stopped them from being deported

it does, sort of, the original bill was executive amnesty but the same AG from Texas got an injunction against the Obama admin and it was tied in the Supreme Court so the injunction got to stand.

but they agreed that the Executive can defer deportation to whoever they want for however long they want, so its been pretty much up to Trump this entire time whether or not to enforce it. But idk if they actually got paperwork, they get gibs regardless of their status, i think many DACA kids came forward to go to college legally, so i imagine there is some form of verification they have, idk how far that extends though.
