for real dominance hierarchy is something embedded deep in our mammalian brains. the genetically weak males who are doomed to be providers and nothing more, they arent meant to reproduce. But somewhere along the line we started this meme about how "everyone deserves somebody" and it has stirred up an enormous shitstorm, ofc these "men" are "feminists" its their only chance to reproduce which they are absolutely desperate for, another part of our mammal instincts is to try and reproduce any way necessary, this is their only shot, can u blame them?

I don't have a full answer but my current best hypothesis is this:

1. Throughout history, there had been "castes" of people: warriors, merchants, peasants, priests, and so on. Those who were proud of their physique developed a "warrior" self-image. The nerdy ones became priests. This informal caste system continues to this day.
2. SJW is the current religion/cult sweeping Western society. Everyone is falling prey to it: media, churches, governments, educational institutions.
3. Therefore, today all the "priestly" types who spent more time reading books than playing sports (what many call beta males or nerds) gravitate towards the SJW cult.
