We discuss morality and virtue often on /pol/ due to its political significance. But how much does /pol/ itself contribute to moral degeneracy? There's nothing more depraved than to be stuck in a day-long /pol/ binge. This often happens on the weekends because I have a satisfying job but no social life. I turn into an animal when I'm caught in /pol/'s grip. I masturbate constantly, eat shitty food, I smell bad, I have no concept of reality outside my computer screen. Is this a proper way to live? Or could it be a necessary journey to the underworld we need to maximize our potential?

It's harmful like any addiction can be. Use /pol/ in moderation
There's got to be something else you can do on the weekend, like exercising, reading or some other things than the pooter.

bump for interest
Hi everyone, my name is David Davidson and I'm a recovering /pol/ addict (currently off the wagon).
