It's interesting if true.

/pol/ started out as a decent enough board a few years back, before the trolls hit. It's mostly like that still on /trv/; People stay on topic and don't act like idiots. But obviously politics attracts a lot of dopes, and every time something major happens more get drawn in. The majority of them leave, but I'd say 1/10th stay, and over time just adopt the same racist humor as the rest of the board. We're not an echo chamber, though.

I come here for news about attacks in the UK that the media doesn't report on. Things are really getting bad, and you'd never hear about it on the BBC. Just earlier today in Wales someone with a machete was captured outside a Beiber concert, but of course the media doesn't report it.

I started coming here often because I photograph political events, and I thought they'd appreciate the news.
