Besides some of the founding father POTUSes, I agree with you on Lincoln.
He was undeniably well spoken and genuine in his beliefs (to the point of it getting in the way of his political career/performance in office). Even more impressive that he basically came from nothing, was almost completely self-taught, and never really compromised his convictions for political gain.
