So my "process" began when I was 16 years old and incredibly liberal. I once red a Facebook post on a site where people could make their anonymously confessions anonymously. This particular post was a woman that was questioning why women are called sluts if they date many guys, but guys are celebrated when they have a lit of girls. The most upvoted comment was the "key-lock" analogy, which absolutely disgusted me because "muh we're all equal. Fuck double standarts". So I began my journey to find two things.
1. A comment section that wasn't sexist.
2. A logical explanation of why this double standart existed in the first place.

This led to me to the so called subreddit r/TheRedPill

My stomach got literally sick because I couldn't believe how sexist this place was. So I began searching for posts that would tell me how wrong and terrible this view and the members of them is. It worked in the beginning but there was just something that.. itched me about this whole thing.

The posts were very articulate, interesting and, most importantly, made sense. So began reading and slowly began to understand everything other the course of a few months, since I always was the more logical and rational type of person.

I am unable to even remember how the following redpills digested. Race realism. The state of the west. Other sites and channels that helped me to understand everything.

So in this thread I didn't just want to hear your stories but also wanted to thank this site for all those redpills that you gave me. Redpills were the main reason why I visited and still sometimes visit this site. And I think that I now finally got the most and most vital ones of them thanks to based youtube channels and websites like this.

It started my senior year of a highschool. I was in an AP English class and my teacher was extremely conservative and proud of it. At first I would argue with him over his beliefs, but the more he talked the more they made sense to me. He was outspokenly anti-feminist and said that he thinks most women should be stay at home moms. He made me question many of my beliefs through the books we read and discussions in class. One thing that really stuck with me was our talk about Nihilism, he told us how must of us are probably Nihilists and don't even know it because the (((Media))) and (((Public School System))) push this on us. He also showed us movies and books that did not only portray the bad side of colonialism but also the positives and how Negros act wherever they are whether it be in the states or in Africa. His class started me on my journey into Conservatism and redpills. I saw him a few days ago and was able to thank him and tell him how much of an impact his class had on me.

Got denied participation in Texas Alliance of Minority Engineers because Hispanic men are minorties. Pissed beyond belief. Then cops raided a post football party. I was a degenerate "legalize gay weed" Libertarian before venturing onto /pol/ (which was as far left as I ever got). This soon made me re-evaluate my positions becoming a civic nationalist, then race realism, and finally the JQ (which funny enough was harder to swallow than race realism). I guess because even though you know you have controversial beliefs, you don't want to be that much of a cliche. Of course I don't take what /pol/ says as scripture, but it was certainly the "spark" or initial push that drove me to seeking out these answers, and the next thing I know I'm reading Culture of Critique, Richard Lynn, Philipe Rushton, etc.

I have always been and I believe people are by nature but then they are taught wrong.

I didn't know it at the time, but those riots and terrorist attacks all across Europe over the years had started to put a strain on me because I perceived them as an attack on "muh United States of Europe". Then came the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks. They, and perhaps more importantly the reactions of the mainstream media and public institutions (muh tolerance, muh integration, etc), they were the straw that broke the camel's back. I came to the obvious conclusion that whatever the solution to those problems might be it was not love and kind words. At the time I also happened to be quite active on r/europe (inb4: le plebbit) and saw how those comment even slightly critical of the mainstream narrative were heavily censored, which lead me to pay extra attention to the few that slipped it though the cracks: from those comments I ended up on r/european and r/the_donald, and from those subreddits I started diving into right wing internet media, both cuckservative and proper alt-right.

Initially I'd lean more towards the cuckservative side ("muh cultural differences", "muh melting pot", etc) but over the course of 9 months, which happened to overlap with the American primaries and presidential elections, as the evidenced piled up in front of me I ended up swallowing all but one redpill (more on this later). At this point I started lurking on /pol/, of which I had heard of before - this place is praised 24/7 as "fuggin' based!! :DD" on r/the_donald - but was afraid of checking out because of the nazi stigma associated with it.

I was 11 years old. in 5th or 6th grade and always critical in my thinking...
...A blonde and a hijab girl walked into my classroom. They had made a petition to have a muslim praying room. Every one in my class signed it and was very positiv about this shit. I was a communist. I entered a organization with the sole purpose of studying Lenin and discussing soviet ideas,
I entered a cold basement full of dirty books and stupid posters. There was a bust of Lenin and one fat guy with a hammer and sickle t-shirt shouted "someone wants a beer?". I was utterly disgusted and pretty fucking cold, sitting on a cheap chair with some other fat people.
A guy started reading about dialectics so I began to be interested. He was a fucking stutterer. It was ridiculous and other guy took over.
Meanwhile those bearded shits started drinking beer and who knows what. When I arrived home, I received an e-mail "Do you want to take part in our next communist bbq?". I never answered. I later discovered that they made a reunion to "put socialist stickers on doors". Plus there was only one girl, and she was always wearing a Dora the Explorer backpack (age 25 or so).

I got out of it. Anti-communism grew in me, it was the first red-pill. And here I am.

When I first thought of gays. I thought it was silly and sort of an enigma. They barely existed 13 years ago. But as I was got older. My friends started coming out of the closet and doing really stupid stuff. Some got heavily into drugs and others went heavily deviancy.
I had to cut off many of my relationships because they were so damn toxic.

Since I was a child I always saw fallacies in society and that scared my parents, but they didn't do anything about it, since they always respected my opinions. I'm glad I was born this way. Made the whole red-pilling much easier. And I need to add I had a weak phase (but never dropped my believes) because of a certain girl that was a feminist, I decided for my own sanity I should stay away from her, and I did.

^ an example of what they were like...Very calm folk music set to natural landscapes and nature... They often had verses accompanying them. Watching these late at night moved me to tears and likely what pushed me towards the right.

Seeing the grasses sway or the clouds roll by to that music was an intense spiritual experience that I will never forget. It told me that there is another world and considering the emotion it did feel like a God was responsible for the beauty and majesty.

Too many things to know exactly where it started. It's a process. Just because the Status Quo is "The Times have changed!", doesn't mean the world is any different.

It's easy to lie to yourself, to discount these realities in your mind; but when you start seeing the sort of sick shit coming out of Canada, the reality of western Europe, it gets harder and harder to tell yourself that there isn't something wrong.

But it did really surprised me when I heard how he talked to a number of other students about race and brains (the lesdon was about neurons and the like). I suppose there's nothing too special about it in my case. Grew up in a small town so no nigs nigging, had autistic features as long as I can remember, the usual story. A very important tip that was given to me and that I hold dear when reading books, cause all this happened before I ever had access, is whenever you find a book on a touchy subject, like homosexuality in ancient Greece or the Jews or whatever, read up on the author of that book, it will tell a lot.

I really just started reading more and more,comparing differences in facts and such. At that point I formed my own opinion based on what I read
The book and history class make it out as a horror story. Human skin lamps, Guards raping girls whenever they felt the need, spooky experiments and the like. I also thought the majority of it was fabricated to distance people from the regime. Was it "DA JOOS" all along? I don't know. What I do know is that it was fishy to me then, and its still fishy to me now.

All it takes is a little bit of doubt it seems
