On /pol/ fascists and libertarians get along pretty well probably because we share common ideas and enemies. If you read the doctrine of fascism, it claims to oppose classical liberalism and the "myth" of individualism. However it asserts that the individual can only exist as a part of the state and obviously fascism is authoritarian rather than libertarian. I think fascism is necessary sometimes and libertarian values are probably only realized in a fascist or post fascist state, so the ideologies are actually in line with each other. What do you think /pol/ ? Can authority and liberty exist together or do they exclude each other?
