The South can't win.

The South is a fake country propped up the US. Living in it is an existential nightmare. It exists only because the force of the United States maintains it. Without that force it would disintegrate quickly.

The North is propped up by the Chinese, but could stay standing without their help, unless knocked over by America. Fundamentally, however, the South cannot win, because it isn't a real country. It's an American construct that the Americans have become increasingly apathetic about. North Korea is the Korean state, SK is a US protectorate. If NK is destroyed, Korea as an independent country is destroyed. As such, the only two outcomes are an NK victory or a US victory. There is no such thing as an SK victory.
