Basically he's an arabic nationalist that was fairly secular, and loved going to war for no apparent reasons. Oh and he also slaughters his people but still, comparing to what they have in iraq now, i say he was the better option. Afterall arabs can't rule themselves without a dictator. Except maybe the lebanese.
