Whatever is going on, the leading insiders, who used to control the DOJ, are now taking diverging paths : the corruption-enabling former AG is trying to shore up the DOJ/FBI's credibility, and the corruption-busting former star prosecutor is now trying to make this all about not following social norms.

Holder wants to make a vanity run for POTUS in the next election cycle, even though what he prizes most is his million-dollar, private-sector law firm partnership, and Bharara, the former crusading "public servant," is cashing in on a million-dollar book deal. You know Trump has up-ended he establishment when even former top Obama-era DOJ officials out flip-flop Trump's own self-dealing G-men.
