This is a popular science myth; the oldest mummies scientists were able to to genetic profiling on were 8000 years old. The moment a mummy is found that is 9000 years old, and posesses the genes that code for de-pigmentation, then the common wisdom will be that "white skin is only 9000 years old", which will also be false. The figure only reflects the oldest fossil/mummy, not a conclusive date for when those traits actually developed. Think of it as a horizon determined by the oldest fossil TO DATE.

Sounds reasonable, Himmler did want to reinvent the German race although the mummy / white theory is somewhat more complicated given the fact that people / mummies 8000-10k years old are farely young, there have been many found compared to lets say human ancestors dating back far older which are far more rare.

They surely arent known for being the best citizens in Germany/Italy , but the natives rarely mix with other races, they are white skinned (sure, some of them might be a lil bit brown, but those tend to be people that work outdoors, and albania is in a pretty hot region.
