WTC7 collasped due to serious damage due to the fall of the North Tower (Debris which gutted parts of the building) and a uncontrolled fire as the sprinkler system was offline.

Due to some design choices made in the system, the fire caused the floor girders steel to expand, a girder on Floor 13 lost its connection to a critical column, Column 79. Combined with the damage sustained on floor 13 caused the entire column to collapse along with the penthouse ~30 seconds before the rest of the building. Internally the building fell apart and then the outer shell fell.

The 9/11 commission report is 500 pages, and only spends about 20 pages on the actual events of 9/11, as there focus is how it happened, not what happened.

The failure of WTC 7 was asymmetrical - it internally failed and collapsed across the building (East to west) and when all the internal framing had fallen over a 30 second span, the other frame also went. Sorry but I don't buy it. That's what it says on NIST but I remember seeing there was a lot lacking in their explanations. Also if that was the case (30 seconds is a lot) I would expect to see all sort of debris and dust blowing the windows out as the internal structure collapses.

The fact of the matter here is that for something as huge as 9/11 this commission was heavily underfunded. The best example of this I can think of is the FACT that nero debased the currency of the roman empire by diluting silver coins, or by plating other metals in silver to pass as silver coins. It was written about in the history books as a fact, but at some point people got skeptical and started wondering "where is the proof" this may not have happened. So we found a couple coins from the era, drilled them and tested them. Turns out they wern't pure silver. The dead historians knew it was true, but we destroyed a tiny piece of evidence to prove it. In another 100 years, I'm sure someone will do it again eventually humanity will only have the books and written testimony of dead civilizations. Their precious libraries and museums containing the evidence of truth long destroyed by this or that catastrophe.

The twin towers were made with the steel beams on the outer walls. There is no way a plane could just go through a wall of steel beams like cake. It would have dented and fucked them up, and most of the plane would fall to the ground.

The national groups for licencing architects and
civil engineers spent millions of there own money to figure out what happened (So to build better buildings) and they ended up with the same results, the only disagreement being over if it was fire+damage or just fire that caused the failure.

Another thing that is unspoken is that the WTC buildings had early post-abestos thermal-protection and it was installed by a mob related company. So most likely the beams didn't have up to code thermal protection.

A subsection of a floor (13th) fell taking out floors 5-13 below it, which meant a support column didn't have support, which it failed, and thus east to west the other internal support columns failed.

The actual external structure frame of WT7 was not designed to hold up it own weight, so as soon as the internal system was fucked, the external frame fell.

The reason is two fold.

The report is about government inaction and reaction to the attacks, and why the building failed was not included as it was beyond the scope.

Secondly, the studies on why the buildings failed had not been completed at the time of the publication. (911 report published July 22, 2004, the tower investigation (main towers) was published in September 2005)

The only conspiracy theory that I think has any amount of legitimacy is that there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll when JFK got assassinated.

I'm skeptical as fuck about most conspiracy theories ever since I ran this big viral website when I was in high school. It got picked up on a lot of the conspiracy forums like ATS. The people there were researching and connecting things that I had released on the site and creating compelling narratives out of it. There were theories about a comet hitting earth on a certain date and something related to a kid who was photographed with Hitler at some point. Of course basically all the clues I gave were just random bits of information and in reality there was no narrative. It really gave me an insight into the minds of conspiracy theorists.
Eventually they figured out it was just some kid fucking around so props to them for that.
