Conspiracy theories should be less stigmatized, especially in currentyear. It encourages at least SOME critical thinking and research, which is better than taking media at face value. It's not at all crazy, even by normie standards, to suggest that mainstream media is designed to manipulate more than inform.
It's true that most conspiracy theories are formed to fit a personally favored narrative, but even the most batshit and biased ones can at least inspire further research to disprove it.
Hunting for truth, even when it turns out to be a waste of time, should not be so discouraged. What does /pol/ think?
