What happened?

During Daddy Bush time, there was this big push for feed hunger in Africa. It was 24/7 commercials for this shit. Not just the after hours midnight infomercial where the fat bearded whit guy tells you that just one little quarter will feed them for a month.

Well, Congress members started seeing this shit and it became the new crusade.

So the Bush administration set up all of these charitable food drives to fill supply ships and send them over to Somalia. Great in theory. But reality we were saying this isn't going to work.

It didn't work. We loaded up food supply ships and sent them over. It was a fucking media fiasco on the docks. CNN and others broadcasting. As the ships began to off load, the Somali war lords came in a confiscated everything and ran everyone off.
