It can be quite difficult depending. You have to have whichever party you want select you, and for that normally you have to have experience or renown (perhaps be a councillor or a well-known journalist or actor or something who now wants to get into politics). Alternatively, you could just make a good impression and be a good activist and you could get selected.

Is it fair to say that the pay rate of CEOs is a complete disgrace?

>Become CEO
>Receive huge salary
>Use company budget to hire a team of management consultants to determine business strategy
> Let them work long hours for weeks or even months on end, gathering far more insight than you could ever hope to
>Implement their strategy suggestions
Then, either
>Profit massively because of it and receive huge bonus on top of your huge salary
Or
>Fail and get sacked, but still receive a massive pay-off on top of your huge salary

Is it a little bit too radical left to suggest that literally 100% of CEOs are talentless whores who deserve to be shot on the very first day of the revolution?

Majority of football managers make all the final decisions re player transfers, team formation, team philosophy, etc. There's a few areas that coaches take over, like training sessions, but even then it'll be based on the direction of what the manager wants to focus on. I don't think they outsource their duties anywhere near as much as CEOs.

Maybe some are there purely on merit, but there's a few (((other factors))) that seem to determine whether somebody becomes a CEO in addition to past work experience and quality.

So them cunts are going to go off and join LIB and the SNP? Leave Corbyn to go full 1488?
>>
Brains is everything. I know families on low incomes - very low - but they still manage and live comfortably because they budget and live within their means. They are content to be modest.

Equally, I know people on low income who do everything they can to waste their money. Buying disposable, temporary pleasures and failing to be vigilant in their spending. These people complain of being poor, whereas the aforementioned clever poor get on with their lives.

So it is inaccurate to say that poor people are all stupid, or that being poor is a choice. However one can perhaps argue that there exists both a shameful poor and a valiant poor in our country.

Sup Brit/pol/?

Just a daily reminder that you can do anything you want in life, providing you have the courage to do it.

Want to be an artist? Start drawing. Want to be a filmmaker? Get out there and shoot some footage. Want to run your own business? Stop being a pussy and make it happen.

You have the potential to do many great things, providing you ignore the fear of failure and fear of embarrassment.

Cheers lads.

Pretty fucking hilarious that Momentum, in large part, started as a pro-EU protest group and gained lots of members because of that stance.

And now Momentum and Corbyn are going on an anti-Blairite purge due entirely to their pro-EU stance.

When the party splits we'll have the Tories and LAB (Corbyn) all anti-EU, all anti-SM. These commie kids have accidentally cut their own dicks off and it's fantastic to see.

If CEO remuneration is a straightforward economic decision for companies that is simply tied to organisational success, why is it that CEO pay has increased astronomically when company performance (relatively speaking) is exactly the same? Is it (dare I say it) possible that a group of self-interested people at the upper echelons of society are interested in keeping the wealth at these upper echelons, and are able to get away with it because no one challenges them?

The Conservatives will beg the EU for an extended membership as we only have 1 year left of Article 50 Negotiations. Their aim is to hoof it into the long grass while guaranteeing their backbenchers that we will leave. Their aim is probably to fuck the country up in the next 2 years beyond repair and then leave it to Labour.

If they called an election now and lost Corbyn would carry Brexit through, which would be a disaster for corporate Conservatives. As I said previously the reality of a deal not being made in the last year and going back on Brexit isn't going to happen. It may have happened had the Conservatives knew they could do it and get back into power but that ship has sailed now and the last thing they want to do is hand over the country in reasonable state for a Socialist Government.

Stop fucking treating them, the fact that the older generations fucked this country up for the future and then expect us to keep forking out taxes to pay for their mistakes pisses me off.

Nah mate, just like the anti-EU lot in 1975 who didn't want free-movement of people.

Are you seriously comparing Wilson's immigration policy to the Tory-Liberals and the Laboour neo-liberals?
