It's a great work. When you see the ironic parallels between the Judean War and the New Testament, you will no longer have any doubt that Titus and his clan cooked up that religion.
All religions are made up, there's no shame in that. If you decide to practice christianity, at least look into the history of its creation.

But we have plenty of extremely old manuscripts of the New Testament which are almost precisely the same as the manuscripts used to translate the King James Version—in the 1600s.
