Why so much haters?
Is it really that great?
If you could move to the USA and get the nationality, would you move there?

Spaniard living in Houston here
I love this country
I moved to Houston like 10 years ago working for the Zara company. America and Europe have the same first world things, roads, hospitals, etc. but it feels kinda different.
I dunno what it is, but I like the place.
I live in a place called Woodlands, 15 minutes from Houston, you can't find a place that beautiful and big in Europe unless you are super rich.
One of the things that makes it great is being flanked by weak countries to the north and south and by fish to the east and west. Feels more secure than living in any European country other than UK or Iceland.
We're insulated from migration from the middle east and Africa due to our distance from the shittiest parts of the world. We do have a lot of Latinos - they're sort of stupid, but pretty friendly, chill and non-ideological for the most part. I think they were imported to create a servant class more reliable than blacks and white trash. Not optimal, but not the worst possible option.
>Redpill me on America
We're the last hope for the planet earth and we're fucking it up.
well, they're good at making enemies and pushing their culture
it's probably a decent place to live, in some areas at least, and perhaps especially if you're an idiot
no i'm fine where i live
There's also the advantage of having freedom of speech, but if you have a white collar job of any sort, you can't take advantage of it if you have any desire to keep your job. It's also not outside the realm of possibility that the Supreme Court might eventually reinterpret the constitution such that we'll also end up with hate speech laws just like Europe. Trump might have bought us some time in that regard though.

Spent 3 years in the USA on a student visa...would not live there. I even have a business there but don't go often to monitor activity. My American partner does a great job, so I only go when absolutely necessary.
I don't hate the people, they are great, but the government and the brainwash is a little too much for my taste.
what is currently going on in the USA is very fucked up. The people have a sense of confusion and divide and conquer is up and running
