Taxation is a rental service linked to your nationality and domicile, if you wish to revoke you subscription you will have to change domicile or change/revoke nationality.

1. Road infrastructures are extremely far from being the thing that taxes are the most used on.
2. In Europe, corrupt politicians give the market to shitty companies owned by the mafia, which in turn give back some money to the politicians in question. Furthermore, those companies do an half assed work on purpose, so that they are going to need to work again only a little while later. This is actually a very well known problem in the EU, I've seen it discussed in a documentary in which EU politicians were interviewed.
3. The roads are still shit, full of potholes absolutely everywhere even in the biggest cities. The only thing that is done about it is putting some more asphalt over it, which will be once again crushed by truck tires in a matter of months and create potholes again. And the process is repeated over and over...
4. In France, highways have been built by big private companies (again, they greased many politicians' pawns in order to get the market), saying that they'll need to make the users pay outrageously high tolls for it in order to get their investment back. That was supposed to last 20 years. 20 years have long passed, the tolls are still here, and they keep increasing. At some point some leftard politician (Royal, the ex-whore of our ex-president Hollande) promised to freeze the toll cost while she was a minster, well she didn't do shit, as she never done a single thing she said in her whole political carreer.
