Every choice you could make in getting a career inevitably results in years of work and the possibility of no pay off. That's how life works, that's why not everyone is successful. I'm 26 and somehow landed myself a job that pays an okay wage as a warehouse forklifter.

But I lost all other motivation in life to even try to be enthusiastic, my sex drive has plummeted almost to zero. Even porn has become mundane and boring, heck even a nice girl walking down the street in big thick round booty yoga pants doesn't do much for me anymore.

Study OSHA compliance and get smart on HazMat and MSDS. You can do all of that for free online.

Millwright and complementary skills are such your experience will remain an advantage. Keep building it. No one can become a skilled millwright overnight and because it's not an office job your peers won't fight you for it. Most of them have no fucking idea it exists.

Study industrial electronics beyond what your job requires. Become an information sponge.

Consider the Air Force or Navy because you can go far in aircraft maintenance fields due to having mechanical common sense. If you are a gearhead it's fun. The retirement package is sweet and you are then free to job hop if you want or need to. Ignore the haters. (t. retired MSgt)
